Kakadu Software is pleased to announce its recent collaboration with Intel® to benchmark their new Intel® Xeon® E5 Processor Platforms. Prof David Taubman the developer of the Kakadu Software, in collaboration with Intel®, has shown clear improvements in performance for the new Intel® E5 processor over previous models. Additionally optimisations to the Kakadu SDK have been included in our recent Version 7 release.

Kakadu Software is pleased to announce the imminent release of the new VS7 SpeedPack software. Our team has completed development of the software and are finalising work on a new simpler and more flexible licence structurefor sale of the new Speedpack Version.

 In preparation for the full commercial release of VS7 we have now uploaded performance results for the new version as compared with both the V7 SDK and the V6 SDK and Speedpack (V6.4.1 and V6S6.3.1). The results can be found on our speedtest page via the link below.
